Today, the concept of sustainability reminds us that another way of doing things is possible and that we can meet the needs of the human being, without compromising the resources of future generations.

At Sauvic, we care about the planet and, for this reason, we carry out sustainable actions with the aim of reducing our impact on the planet. How do we do it? We use renewable energy, since part of the company works with energy from solar panels, and we reduce the use of paper. Plus, most of our products save energy and let Mother Nature do her thing.

If you also want to contribute to change, start offering our clothes horses and dish drainers in your business. These help to improve the energy efficiency of the homes in which they are used, since they allow both clothes and dishes to dry on their own, in the old way.

In addition, the benefit of doing it this way is that, for example, clothes last longer, do not shrink, and suffer less. It smells better, reduces the risk of random fires, and generally dries faster without using energy. Washing dishes by hand and leaving them to dry in our dish racks increases the useful life of the dishes, makes them clean the first time and, since our dish drainers are so versatile, they bring order to the kitchen and peace of mind.

Still, if we still have not convinced you, let's take a look at what the energy consumption data tells us. Although it is true that consumption will depend on several factors such as the type of dishwasher, its energy efficiency or the frequency with which it is used, an average dishwasher consumes 246 kWh per year. In addition, according to data from Red Eléctrica Española (REE), dishwashers represent 3% of the electricity consumption of the total household and, according to the Ministry for Ecological Transition (Miteco), this represents 6.6% of energy consumption. in household appliances in our homes. For their part, dryers have an average consumption of 270 kWh per hour. To find out how much a dryer consumes per month, we can do a very simple calculation: multiply the hours that the drying cycle lasts, taking into account that the average consumption per hour is 270 kWh for the days per month that we use it. Depending on whether or not it has a heat pump and the energy class, we will round up or down.

At Sauvic, we have been manufacturing stainless steel, aluminium and wood articles for the home and garden for more than 30 years. They are 100% local products, made with local, high-quality raw materials. In addition, at the end of the production chain they go through an exhaustive control to guarantee their quality and that they are ready to go on the market with the best conditions.
